Motorola Moto M Live Images Leaked Yet Again, Expected to Launch on November 8

Motorola’s upcoming Moto M is no stranger to leaks, in fact, it has been leaked more than one time showing off the device in full glory along with the specs. Also, the fact that Moto M is apparently the first Motorola’s phone to sport a Fingerprint sensor at the back has been the talking point. The device was earlier certified by TENAA post which the Moto M was exposed in a bunch of live images along with the promo shots. Also, the Moto M marked its presence on the AnTuTu benchmark.

Now the Moto M has been once again ousted after the latest bunch of live photos surfaced thanks to Nowhereelse. The pictures show the device being held along with a few Moto mod lying on the background. Furthermore, the images also show off the metal build along with the rear Fingerprint sensor. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the Moto M abides by the family traditions when it comes to the design aspect despite the minute deviations.

The Motorola Moto M is expected to sport a 5.5-inch FHD display with a pixel density of 401ppi and comes powered by the MediaTek Helio P15 clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with a 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the options seem to start from 32GB and presumably extend all the way to 128GB. The latest leak also points out at a 3050mAh battery. The camera setup is expected to consist of a 16-Megapixel primary sensor and an 8-Megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, the Moto M will also be running the Android 8.0 Marshmallow along with the latest security updates.

The Motorola Moto M is expected to be launched on November 8th and hopefully, the Moto M will be a mid-segment smartphone that comes at an affordable price point.

Latest Report Reveals Positive Growth in Sony’s Mobile Business

Sony’s mobile business hasn’t seen potential growth since the sudden embankment of affordable smartphones. They’ve been unable to keep up the pace and as a result, their share in the market has almost reached a point of extinction when compared with what they used to relish before. However, unlike the previous year where they faced a tragic loss of $172 million, the latest earning report reveal some positive spikes.

Sony Mobile Communications sustained a profit of $37 million (3.7 billion JPY) in Q2 2016, up from $4 Million in Q1. The company’s restructuring cost it over $500 Million in 2015, however, thanks to the downsizing of lineups and pivot to lesser models harvesting higher margins, things seems to be have patched up at least for now.

Selling about 3.5 Million handsets in the most recent quarter, their sales in total, were down by 40 percent year-on-year as Sony axed the majority of budget offerings. They also shifted focus on regions where outcomes were relatively better, therefore, decreasing risk factors overall. Sony’s latest smartphone, the Xperia XZ received positive criticism, although, it has been touted as overpriced due to the availability of better hardware at the similar costs. Additionally, they’ve been completely absent from the most active price brackets, their most affordable smartphone is the Xperia XA currently which starts $279.99.

Apart from that, Sony’s earnings in general, fell by 86 percent year-on-year primarily due to the Kumamoto earthquake. Furthermore, the semiconductor, as well as component business, also encountered marginal dips. The only increase they saw was in the home entertainment section which posted a $174 million (17.6 billion JPY) profit, up 11 percent year-on-year.
