Google Tone is a rather uncanny attempt at achieving a task that you’d normally won’t favor. This extension is for getting everyone on the same web page as yours on Google Chrome and it does that by playing a custom tone for other computers within the earshot to hear. Okay, if this hasn’t made sense for you, here’s how it works – You’re browsing a website and there’s some interesting content you want to broadcast on your friend’s computer as soon as possible. It’s really riveting way to share links, however, for obvious reasons, it doesn’t always work especially in rowdy environments.
