Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Appears in Render and Video

Samsung is all set to unveil its Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus in the first quarter of this year. Previously the launch was scheduled to happen at the MWC 2017 but later postponed, probably due to the Note 7 Battery debacle. Just like always the rumor mills have been activated and we are seeing a host of Samsung Galaxy S8 pictures on the internet but most of them didn’t seem to be legit, however, the recent renders by Onleaks have been the clearest of the lot and showcase the device in full glory.

Adding to the bonus is the 360-degree render video of the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus released by the serial tipster Onleaks. The Galaxy S8 is said to come with the screen size of 5.7-inch and the Galaxy S8 Plus is expected to be fitted with a much larger 6.1 or 6.2-inch. Both the devices are expected to sport a dual-curved Super AMOLED displays. Apparently, this is the first time that Samsung will use curved glass for the smaller variant. Also, the screen to body ratio also seems to be great which along with the curved glass gives a sort of bezel-less appearance.

Furthermore, both the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus will feature an iris scanner, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and if the readers are to be believed it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which is very unlike of the Galaxy S series. The power buttons have been placed to the left side of the device along with a dedicated key which is speculated to be the Samsung’s voice assistant, Bixby. On the imaging front, the phone offers 12-Megapixel primary sensor with dual-pixel phase detection, f/1.7, OIS and 4K video recording.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be powered by Exynos 8895 and Snapdragon 835. The device will be equipped with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. Samsung is expected to plonk a 3,250mAh battery in the Galaxy S8 and opt for a bigger 3,750mAh battery in the Galaxy S8 Plus. Again I would like to remind you that this is just a render and the final product is very likely to differ.
