Neutrino From Supermassive Black Hole in Another Galaxy Detected in Antarctica


Scientists using the IceCube observatory detected a high-energy neutrino striking the Antarctic ice. It had an energy of 300 trillion electron volts -- 45 times more energy than the Large Hadron Collider can produce in a collision.
